Planned & Cyclical Maintenance
Based on the Stock Condition Survey carried at out the beginning of 2004, a programme of Planned Works has now been drawn up, detailing various works to be carried out over the next ten years on many of our properties.

These works may involve Kitchen Refurbishments, Bathroom Refurbishments, Window Replacements, Fascia Replacements, Roof Replacements and Central Heating Installations.
Cyclical maintenance is carried out on properties in varying cycles depending on the work, for example:
For your safety it is very important that all gas appliances are serviced every year. For Atlantic Housing Association tenants and Pavilion Housing Association tenants it is also a legal requirement that we carry out these services and we will contact you every year to arrange this for you.Gas servicing Annually
Testing your electrical circuits regularly ensures that your property remains safe and complies with current regulations. Any work needed to upgrade the electrics to comply with changes in regulations will be recorded and the work carried out at a later date, Any urgent work will be carried out at the time of the test or soon afterwards. We will contact you to arrange the test when it is due.Electrical Testing Every 10 years
The external elements of your home that require regular painting eg timber windows, doors, soffits, fascias and barge boards will be repaired and decorated. In some instances a textured wall surface will be included. If any of the above elements have been replaced with PVCu products, these will be washed down.External Painting & Repairs Every 5 years
If you are aged 70 or over, or you are registered blind or disabled, then you are eligible to apply for one room to be decorated every 3 years. If you are already on the list for this scheme or you have become eligible we will write to you around August /September and let you know. We will also advertise the scheme in Talking Tenants (Eastleigh) and Housing News (Aldershot).
