The Gas Safety (installation and use) Regulations 1998 require that we must undertake a gas safety inspection every twelve months of all gas pipes and appliances that are installed in your home. It is a criminal offence if we do not comply with these regulations and all Registered Social Landlords must comply in the same way.
You and your family could be at risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning if your appliance, flue or ventilation is not working properly. To make sure it is, we need to check it annually.
