Beacon event
The team organised and hosted a financial inclusion beacon event on 17 June 2010.
Over 80 representatives from a range of organisations involved in promoting financial inclusion came together to share best practice and plan for the future. Delegates heard from the Consumer Financial Education Body about their money guidance programme and were briefed about the work of the South Coast Financial Inclusion Team. Workshops were held to showcase the work of the three local authorities awarded beacon status for financial inclusion. See below for more information on the event.
